Lidded bowl / Gaiwan in red and black

This object started out as a gaiwan that couldn't find its lid after the first firing. I made it a new lid some months later. When trimming it I had a moment of geometrical sensibility that you can see and feel in the knob. The glazing was also a sponataneous decision for which I was so happy later on. I knew about the deep red from a test cup, but the black was a complete and wonderful surprise. 

All this said, you can use it as a gaiwan, a salt keeper or a keeper in general, of things or no things.
